So Toledo is having a 'who has the best tapa competition'. I'm not going to bore you with details, but in short each restaurant (and there are A LOT) has a pride and joy tapa and people go around eating them and then they vote on which tapa is the best. It's happening for the whole month of November. Of course this means Jorge and I will participate. Here's what we've found so far.
This one is tomatoes with melted goat cheese and some kind of delicious sauce and snazzy salad. I remember it was so good that I cleaned the plate with my fingers.
This one is pisto manchego with fluffy fried manchego cheese and sweet and sour honey sauce. It was another finger licking good plate.
